Everyone who holds a session, and how fast that is growing. Since try-before-signup, that includes people using the app without an account — the split below separates them, because "has an account" and "is using the app" are no longer the same question.

Logged a meal today (any method)
Sign-ups who never come back do not count for much. This is the honest read on whether people actually use the app.

People who used theirs today
Every free user gets one meal analysed with the full paid experience — blood sugar, coaching, the lot. This is how many spent theirs today. It is the moment the paywall has to win them over, so read it next to Paywall → trial below.

Free users who wanted more today
Free accounts get 3 AI analyses a day, plus one more for watching an ad. These are the people who used up everything available and still wanted another — they are asking for the product, so they are your warmest upgrade candidates. Not the same as Slowed or blocked, which is an abuse guard that applies to everyone.
Slowed or blocked today
—
Users the speed limits caught
Safety limits that stop runaway usage — more than 4 scans in 10 minutes, 12 in an hour, or 25 in a day. This is a health check, not a sales signal: if it climbs, check whether ordinary users are getting caught rather than abusers. For what actually pushes people to subscribe, see the locked features further down.
People with premium

Paying customers plus free grants
Counts paying customers and the free access you have granted, each person once. The split is shown underneath — free grants are never counted as revenue. Expect little movement for the first couple of weeks, since trials have to run their course before anyone is charged.

Conversion funnel
The two numbers that say whether the paywall is working: how many people who see it start a free trial, and how many of those go on to pay. Percentages stay hidden until enough people have been through for them to mean anything — the counts are always shown.
What makes people hit the paywall
When someone taps a feature they do not have access to, we record which one. This shows which locked features are actually pushing people toward subscribing — useful for deciding what Premium should lead with.
Logging consistency
How many days a week people actually log meals. This is what the weekly report unlock threshold is set from. Bars show how many users logged on how many separate days in the last week.
